of some of the questions she has answered....
Q: Hello,
I am renting the first floor or a house. I have to walk through
the porch (approximately 6.5') to get to the first door. The
first door opens to a small foyer, which has to the left, a
window and a staircase leading to the top floor. The top floor
is rented by my landlord's daughter and husband. There is also
a door, straight ahead, approximately 5', from the first door,
leading to the basement. This door is usually closed. The door
to my apartment is located to the left of the the front door.
There is no over-lapping of the front door with my door to the
left. My apartment is therefore an l-shape apartment. I am confused
as to which door (the front or the door to the left) is the
true entrance to which I align the Pa Kua.
I have had no luck with my job
search (I have sent out over 100 resumes), even before the September
11 disaster. I know the market is bad, but I would like to know
that I have done on my part all I can do to enhance my career.
Do you have any recommendations? Thank you. --Madeline
A: Hi Madeline--First
of all, you have indicated with your use of the Pa Kua that
you are using a different school of Feng Shui than what I teach--I
am Black Hat Tibetan Schooled. However, I will still answer
your question from my perspective and also recommend that you
get an expert that specializes in Compass school to answer the
question as well. In my school of Feng Shui, we always use the
front door as the architect intended to align the Bagua (or
the Pa Kua in your case). However, when you are renting just
a room or an apartment in the building, the Feng Shui would
begin at the entrance of your apartment. I always have clients
who are renting space in the building also determine where they
live in accordance to the whole building diagnosis because it
can raise awareness--for instance, having an apartment in the
child position of the building and somehow not being taken as
seriously as you would like is a great way to diagnose the problem
of not having authority. Then we work with the creative aspects
that is also in Child and create with intention more serious
reactions from the outside world. I hope this helps--Gabrielle
