Gabrielle's Feng Shui Questions and Answers Gabrielle Alizay Answers Feng Shui Questions at AllExperts.com!
Read on for a sampling of some of the questions she has answered....

Q: For the marriage relationship area of my home I would like to get two large plants. What types would you recommend? I live in New York City and the room has a northern exposure. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this question.

A: Debbie--sorry this has taken so long---I did not receive notification until yesterday and then there was some sort of mix-up. Plants rules: Real plants are fine, just make sure that they don't get sick or die. Bad Feng Shui and bad symbology for Love/Marriage. If having the "Green Thumb" is NOT your thing--I suggest high quality silk plants--ones that look like the real thing--not the cheesy kind. Silk plants count in Feng Shui, especially if the real things don't do so well in a particular area. Also, make sure that the plants "have room to grow"--whether they are in a large enough pot or have enough headroom to stretch.

The colors for Love/Marriage are red, pink, and white--just like Valentine's day colors--so, with intention of enhancing your relationship, you might choose a relevant plant with blossoms in those colors. It is believed that blossoming plants are more powerful than ones that do not, and plants that bear fruit are given the highest rating. However, I doubt that a fruit tree would exist well on the inside of your dwelling. Also, do avoid the cactus family. Prickly, sharp edges are not the symbols you want to emulate whether in the Love/Marriage or any other Life Value according to Feng Shui.
Specific plants are not my specialty--but you may go to a plant store and with these above values, have a good time, and watch them "grow" as your relationship does. Hopefully--vibrant and healthy.

May this help even though it is late--Gabrielle Alizay
