Gabrielle's Feng Shui Questions and Answers

Read on for a sampling of some of the questions she has answered....

Q: Hi! I understand that you can place the Bagua over your entire house & map it out - I also understand that then you can do each individual room. How does one do that? Don't they conflict? I am trying to enhance my career.  If I put enhancements in the career area of my house & then do individual rooms - let's say in my relationship area of my house - and I then do that room to enhance my career. How does the energy know in what direction to go in? Does that make sense? Thank you!! -Jodee

A: Hi, Jodee--Your questions make great sense, and I will strive to assist you.  First of all, yes--absolutely locate the Career area in your house. Know that the elemental representation for Career is Water. You may not be familiar with elemental relationships but in general avoid the Earth element (like rocks, Native American pottery, and such) in this area. Earth dams Water and you want your Career to flow. Also, be sure that you perform a clutter-clearing in this area of the house as well. The Higher Power (or whatever your Spiritual Source is) gifts when space is made.

Eliminate clutter, then make room for leaps in your Career part of life.  When dealing with your Career, it is also quite successful to travel directly across the Bagua to the Fame/Reputation area to make sure that "all your ducks are in a row" in this area as well. Having a good reputation is what promotes you and makes people talk about how great you are to hire and to get services from. It's elemental representation is Fire. Don't put it out with water fountains or water imagery. Do a clutter-clear here in this area as well. Also, I would suggest that you locate the Helpful People/Travel section of your home. This is where bosses and clients can be manifested. Do a clutter-clear, there is no Elemental Representation so relax. If you want go to Wealth/Power area of home because of the "Opposite-Attract" law and make sure that things look good here. Finally, locate the Center of the Universe area of your house. This is where you will also, with intention, place your Career
wishes because that issue is central in your life. If you need a Bagua and specific instructions on how to superimpose over the floor plan of your house, go to homepeace.com and download the free Bagua and Instructions. I also suggest that you sign up for my free monthly Feng Shui newsletter. I am going to be dealing specifically with Career in the next few months.

Okay, so the aligning of the Bagua over the whole house building is the priority. It takes precedence so the energies are not confused with anything you might do in individual rooms. That said, you may go to individual rooms, place the Bagua over the floor plan, this time using the doorway into the room, instead of the front door of the house, to determine where Career exists in every room. Following the principles of Bagua alignment, the door to each room can only be one of these three Life Values: Helpful People/Travel, Career/Life Path, or Self-Knowledge/Wisdom. Then you may symbolically do something in the Career area of every room if you want. You may also go to the Career area of the house, find the Career spot in that room, and pinpoint your desires with intentions.

This is rather muddled but I hope it helps--Sincerely, Gabrielle Alizay
